Hector Galarza Jr., born and raised in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, passed away peacefully surrounded  by his family on December 4, 2025, at Waterbury Connecticut, entering the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born on September 17, 1965, to the late Hector Galarza Sr. and Natalia Cruz-Galarza.

Hector was a devoted husband to Lisa, a loving father to his daughters Lyniece and Natalia, and a proud grandfather to Dominick, Vincent, and Mateo, who brought him endless joy. 

Hector is survived by his younger siblings, Nilsa and Carmelo Galarza. His Uncle Tomas Cruz, his Aunt Iris Cutillo and his cousins. 

Hector found peace in life’s simple moments fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle, building toy models and fixing cars. He had a gentle heart and a deep love for animals.

He will be remembered for his love for family, and his caring spirit. Hector will be deeply missed and forever loved.
