Diane Torres died unexpectedly in Richmond University Medical Center on February 25, 2026 at the age of 66 years old.

Diane Torress was born on June 7, 1959 to Ana Rojas-Torres predeceased and Felix Torres Sr. predeceased. Diana attended IS 61 and Curtis high school where she graduated. She worked at Bayley Seton Hospital and later served as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Saint Elizabeth Ann’s Rehabilitation Center where she was employed for many years. Diane had two daughters whom she loved and cherished deeply

Diane was a protector of her family and someone you always wanted on your side. She had a love for shopping and a generous heart always willing to help anybody in need. Diane was funny and fearless. She spoke her mine without hesitation and was known for being outspoken, brave charismatic, and incredibly creative.

Diane sadly leaves behind a host of family and friends that will miss and cherish her daily. she is survived by her two daughters Annette Vega and Jalitca Torres. Four brothers Felix Torres Jr., Adolfo Torres, Victor Torres, and Wifred Torres, two sisters, Edna Torres and Berna Collins one granddaughter Lanae Alyssa Burton. Four godsons, Jeff, Jaylen, Justin Sr. and Jose predeceased and one goddaughter Juliana Torres.

We will miss her kind heart, loving spirit and great sense of humor. We sincerely THANK GOD FOR HER LIFE!
